Soy Envoys
The Illinois Soy Envoy program is an initiative of Field Advisor and is funded by the Illinois Soybean Checkoff. The program provides industry experts with opportunities to share agronomic information and regional crop updates with Illinois soybean farmers.
Soy Envoys contribute monthly content to the Field Advisor Crop Report and Field Notes blog at FieldAdvisor.org. Participants may also appear on the Field Advisor podcast and serve as ambassadors for ISA at winter meetings, summer field days, and other relevant events.
Upon completion of the program, Soy Envoys receive a $2,000 stipend in recognition of their contributions and efforts.
Applications are now open for 2026. The deadline to apply is February 28.
“Being a part of the Soy Envoy program is a great way to network with agronomy experts across the state, strengthen communication skills and learn new management practices from peers.”
Abigail Peterson, ISA Director of Agronomy
