The annual Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) Request for Proposals is open and accepting submissions to conduct work with checkoff funded dollars for fiscal year 2024 (September 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024). As Research Agronomist on the agronomy team here at ISA, I am excited to help solicit proposals specifically related to soybean production in Illinois. We are looking for research proposals that create opportunities to increase on-farm profitability sustainably and, where it makes sense, include an education and outreach component from which growers, landowners, and agriculture professionals can gain new knowledge.

Check out https://fieldadvisor.org/learn/ to see active research projects for FY23, and our Researcher Recruitment piece below to learn more about the process of partnering with ISA on research projects.

Proposals are due on May 1, 2023. You can find the RFP templates at https://www.ilsoy.org/rfp/.
