Field Advisor Forum
The inaugural Field Advisor Forum took place on January 16 at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, with the Colonnades Club hosting the morning session. DeLoss Jahnke of RFD Radio Network emceed, and board member Steve Pitstick delivered the welcome. Dr. Fred Below shared soybean success strategies, Dr. Connor Sible presented ISA checkoff-funded tissue testing research, and Dr. Scott Irwin provided a marketing update. The morning concluded with an independent crop consultants panel. Afternoon breakout sessions in the Colonnades and 77 Clubs featured 45-minute discussions on ISA checkoff-funded research and resources like GROW, Crop Protection Network, and Science for Success.
The event attracted 156 in-person attendees including farmers, certified crop advisers, ag retailers, and over 50 online participants. The entire event was livestreamed on Field Advisor’s YouTube channel, and individual presentation videos are being prepared for convenient access. Subscribe to Field Advisor so you get a notification when those videos are posted. Thank you to everyone that attended and supported the event – we look forward to next year!
