SYNOPSIS

Scattered rain for the next several days. The crop is finally taking off. Corn growth stages are from emerging to Brown silk. Crazy spring!

Anywhere from 2 tenths to 2 inches depends on where the thunderstorms pop-up.

FIELD/SOIL CONDITIONS

Fields dry out quickly. Herbicide, sidedress and fungicide applications are being made pretty timely.

We’re finally making progress and the established crop looks great. The late planted stuff is pretty rough, with some fields replanted 2-3 times. There are a lot of prevent plant acres. It’s going to be a long harvest season.
