FIELD ACTIVITIES
Planting!!!!
SOYBEAN GROWTH STAGE
Just planted up to V2.
CORN GROWTH STAGE
Just planted up to V5.
WHEAT GROWTH STAGE
Pictured in this report.
WEEDS
Waterhemp is tall in places. Calls from Iowa on Giant Ragweed in soybeans uncontrolled and field horsetail in corn (NIGHTMARE!!!). Corn in northern Illinois is pushing herbicide label restrictions.
COVER CROP INSIGHTS
All the cover crops appear to finally be terminated. Many fields will have a good mulch layer to help control weeds.
