Caption: Barely V1 corn in Woodford County. Just saw it this morning at school dropoff.
Caption: Yesterday I texted Jeremy Flikkema in Carroll County because I had yet to see corn. This is his April 25th planted field.
Caption: About 7” of rain in the last 10 days or so. Ponds in fields are finally going down. Sprayers were headed out early this morning In Woodford County.
SYNOPSIS
Field work is just starting back up after drying enough to spray. I refuse to look at the forecast.

Be on the look out for herbicide damage. Cold, wet herbicide soaked soil can wreak havoc on corn stands. Soybeans are showing contact PPO damage..
COVER CROP INSIGHTS
Cover crops have been hard to kill in some fields. Be aware of your tank mix components and how they may affect each other. If any components burn the weed leaf tissue too quickly, the glyphosate will not have the chance to absorb.
