SYNOPSIS

The rain that hit this week has made the county extremely variable field to field on moisture levels, but the crops said thank you! Wheat is being harvested and/or was harvested before the rain. The heat is taking a little break, but the sun is still shining!

FIELD/SOIL CONDITIONS

The fields took on a much needed rain this week! We went from looking on the verge of too dry, to variable moisture in fields through the county.

Harvested earlier than normal in the area! Some stand issues due to the warm weather.

Stink bugs are feeding on corn and Japanese beetles are beginning to increase.
