We were starting to almost be dry enough to start fieldwork again but it rained today. The mid March planted corn and soybeans have just emerged. The previous winds have brought significant flights of cutworm moths in traps.

A few had tillage equipment running and I saw one planter yesterday. They might have been pushing it a bit in not quite dry enough conditions.

A lot of burndown and tillage has already taken place here, but a few no-till fields have quite a bit of henbit, chickweed, and other weeds coming on strong.
